We walked from Limehouse in the Canary Wharf area on the east side all the way to Islington/Angel in the north. Things to look out for: cool barges moored along the canal, ducklings, tons of greenery and even a floating bookstore barge. You can even stop for coffee at some of the barge cafes along the way. We rewarded ourselves with a nice brunch at Elk in the Woods at Islington and then explored the small but very cool enclave of stores and cafes nearby. The whole walk took us slightly less than 2 hours.
