MexOut
$15.00

avg. per meal

This casual restaurant in Far East Square is great for an office worker in the CBD to get their Mexican fix over lunch or dinner. The usual variants of burrito, tacos, rice & salad bows, as well as nachos are here, with all the main fillings, salsas, and additional condiments you'd want. Prices start at around $10 for a small burrito or 2 tacos, with certain ingredients costing extra (e.g. $2 for carne asada or beef barbacoa, $0.50 for sour cream, $2 for guacamole). Making it a meal with mini chips and a soft drink costs $3.50, bringing the total to roughly $15 - $20 depending on what you want.

  • Had MexOut for lunch at the suggestion of the wonderful Lucy Miles and was very happy with the choice of venue. The variety of food and ingredients was excellent and everything looked fresh and clean. I got a rice bowl meal with a few add ons which quickly put me past the $20 mark, though in return I got a TON of food and was super stuffed afterwards. The carne asada is in strips of beef whereas I prefer the steak-cube style, but overall was a very good meal!
