  • First thoughts on the burger was that it look real good with awesome presentation! After tasting it my perception changed real quick. The beef patty tasted like the Sahara desert even though I requested a medium doneness, the only saving grace was the bottom bun which was slathered with some sweet sauce and the fried egg. Overall I give it a 3/10 after i factored in the price of the dish.

  • I am one who is particular about the doneness in every food that I order. We ordered medium, but the patty came well done, which probably explained why the steak was not juicy enough. I couldn't taste much of the beef flavour - something that i looking forward to. The egg came as a nice add on as I loveeeee eggs! The bacon was quite thick - something different from the usual - and this gave the burger more flavour, as you would have to spend more time chewing the bacon vs the patty and the bun.

  • The Chopped Steak Burger ($38) has a nice and thick patty with good texture, though it got pretty dry after a few bites. The bacon was thick and a bit chewy, combining nicely with the BBQ sauce & melted cheese for a smoky taste with a hint of spice. The bun was well toasted while the egg was perfectly cooked, and the shoestring fries were decent. However, though each individual ingredient was of very high quality, the burger as a whole didn't really impress me, especially given the lofty price.
