Luke’s Oyster Bar & Chop House
$32.00

Luke's Oyster Bar & Chop House is a classy venue with an equally smart menu to match. In addition to their upscale menu items such as oysters, caviar, and selection of high end steaks, Luke's also offers a few options for burger lovers.

Luke's Blue Label Burger ($32++, burger only) features a secret blend patty of beef short ribs & beef chuck alongside special sauce, lettuce, tomatoes, red onions, pickles, and a house-made bun. You can add on cheddar cheese (+$2), house cured bacon (+$6), an organic fried egg (+$4), or even all three (+$10).

Their lunch menu adds two more burgers to the mix: The Original "Travis" Burger ($27++) has a custom blend beef patty, aged cheddar, and a homemade bun with the option to add kurobuta bacon (+$4); while the "Lunch Only" Vegetable Burger ($23++) is club style with havarti cheese & thick cut tomato. Both options include a side of fries and can be topped up with an organic fried egg (+$4) or avocado (+$4).

  • I had Luke's Blue Label Burger ($32) whose bun was toasted well and very tasty, while the thick beef patty was one of the best I've had - excellent texture with fantastic seasoning and flavors (especially the slightly salty crust); it felt like a good steak. The toppings were fresh though the onion was a bit strong, and the tangy mustard sauce on the side added a nice optional twist. Would have loved to have fries included to round out the meal, but still a great albeit pricey burger on its own.
