Check out the (mostly free!) tech events on The List to meet with and recruit other founders and developers. Kristin, founder of TheList, is a Hubber too :)

They’re here to make the startup scene in Singapore as approachable as possible. You don’t have to know where to start or who to connect with or how to get an invite. If you see it on the list, you’re welcome to join in. GO!

The List tries their best to capture the mot interesting start up, entrepreneur, beer /boozy, bookish, networking, designery, artsy, and techy events that are going on during the week. If you like these kind of things, you’ll probably like the events that they share in their weekly email.

  • A good friend of mine put me in touch with The List shortly after I joined the startup scene in Singapore. I've been to a couple of their events which provide an excellent means for networking. Like all such events, it can be tough to find exactly what you're looking for on the technical side of things but well worth checking out.

  • I went to a few events which were really cool and met a lot of awesome people. However most of them had specific themes or purposes and I didn't find many programmers that were looking for jobs. Nevertheless, it was great for networking and getting to know the various industries better!
