A traditional Japanese multi-course meal that is both offered as a Book the Cook option as well off the menu on some flights to/from Japan, Kyo-kaiseki comes highly recommended from the frequent flyer community as both an impressive display of food in the sky and a tasty meal to keep you satisfied throughout your flight.

  • My girlfriend had this for breakfast on a morning flight, so it was only 3-courses (the lunch and dinner portions are significantly larger). I had a few bites of each course and was quite happy with the variety and quality of food. Definitely a great experience if you haven't tried it before, or if you simply like to try a bit of everything.
