The Laxmi Niwas Palace is a magnificent red stone palace built in Anglo-Indian style. This is a very stately building built around a large central courtyard and it's intricately carved up to it's highest dome. The hotel is set in spacious gardens and you approach it through a large entrance in the form of a clock tower. The rooms are varied and spacious and we stayed in a very lovely room on the ground floor near the entrance. Good food and helpful staff enhanced our stay here.
