Yu Garden 218 Anren St Huangpu, Shanghai China
Not far from the Bund, you can visit the Yu Yuan gardens - beautiful old Shanghai, with modern shanghai standing tall in the distance. Go into the walled gardens for a bit of peace and quiet in central Shanghai.
If you feel like more of a walk, walk along Fangbang Rd into the French Concession (30 mins). As you enter the French concession, there is a antiques market along Dongtai Rd.
Finish the walk with a well earned drink / coffee / ice cream in Xintiandi.
