Great Burritos in Singapore

Great Burritos in Singapore

Finding a good burrito in Singapore is no easy feat, which is unfortunate for those who have lived in America and crave some great Mexican food every now and then. Here are some of the standout burritos that I've come across in Singapore.

Tried the buritto bowl with steak n chips. Beer was tender n flavourful, rice was soft enough to enjoy. The spicy salsa was spicy enough but no where near Singaporean chilli standards. Only complain I had was that the serving was a tad too small. Too little rice for the ingredients serve which was quite generous.

The quality isn't fantastic, but it is a decent option to get Mexican fast food if you're around the Hillview area.

Really good burrito and I enjoyed the relaxed nature of this place.

Had MexOut for lunch at the suggestion of the wonderful Lucy Miles and was very happy with the choice of venue. The variety of food and ingredients was excellent and everything looked fresh and clean. I got a rice bowl meal with a few add ons which quickly put me past the $20 mark, though in return I got a TON of food and was super stuffed afterwards. The carne asada is in strips of beef whereas I prefer the steak-cube style, but overall was a very good meal!

A very nice and convenient way to get your burrito fix in the CBD, especially if you're already in the area. The cost is about $10-15 depending on what you get and what size, and the taste is quite good (though not the best I've had in Singapore). Overall I'd definitely recommend this if you're nearby and are craving a burrito - you won't be disappointed.

  • Muchachos

When I lived in California I would have Chipotle literally 2-3 times a week, so coming back to Singapore and not having anything like it was a big disappointment. Since Muchachos opened up, it has been my go-to place whenever the burrito craving kicked in. The food started off decent but not great, but over time I've noticed the quality of meat and ingredients has steadily improved and it is pretty damn good now. I'd say it is about 80-90% of Chipotle, which is the best I've had so far in Asia.
