  • Fatboy’s The Burger Bar

I had a Wimpy Burger ($15) and despite the name it was still quite a mouthful between the beef patty, bacon, and egg. The patty was cooked nicely (though a bit thin and not quite juicy) and went well with the slightly salty bacon. The sesame seed bun had a nice texture & flavor, however the BBQ sauce was just OK as was the egg. The hearty side of thick, slightly crispy fries was quite mediocre. Overall a good yet average burger, but I'm looking forward to trying the other, more unique options!

  • De Burg

I had the 200g 'Baconcheese' burger ($17.50). The patty isn't exactly thick but it is wide and nicely cooked - good texture, flavor, and while a bit chewy at times, it went well with the condiments. The fresh toppings were great: the bacon was extremely crispy and enjoyable, and the faint taste of BBQ sauce wasn't too faint nor overpowering. The bun is large and normal, as were the just slightly crispy fries. Overall it isn't super special, but it is a well executed burger that'll satisfy you.

  • Two Blur Guys

Their burgers are full of flavour and certainly hit the spot. I went for their Prime Beef Burger recently and found it to be a little too juicy / greasy for my liking; had to resort to knife and fork. I really liked their truffle mayonnaise and relish which certainly enhances the taste and would bring me back again. One of the better quick-turnaround gourmet burger offerings that I've come across in Singapore and I would definitely recommend to friends looking for inspiration on that front.

Being a huge truffle fan, I tried out the Truffle Burger ($28) and of course upgraded to truffle fries ($2). The bun was just ok, being soft and non-toasted. The sauteed onions complimented the juicy and nicely cooked patty - which had good texture and flavor - making the burger messy yet fun to eat. The burger is medium-sized, its not food coma-inducing but gets you full enough alongside the fries. Overall a good meal, but wish the burger & fries were more truffle-ly to live up to the name.

  • OverEasy

I recommend reserving a table on the deck outside overlooking Marina Bay. When it came to their choice of burgers, I went for the "To Die For" and asked for it to be cooked medium rare. The meat was juicy and cooked as requested. I enjoyed their special burger sauce in combination with the melted cheddar cheese. The chips were crispy and I really enjoyed the addition of rosemary and parmesan to enhance their flavour. A simple and satisfactory burger that comes with a great view.

  • Berg's Burger

Berg's Burger has a lot of interesting options for burger fanatics, though I typically stick with the Miss Piggy (bacon cheeseburger) with fries and a lemonade ($20 NETT). The burgers are large and will fill you up, though as you can see the patties aren't necessarily thick nor juicy. Maybe its just me but something about the meat texture makes it feel a bit rubbery/stringy, but thankfully its not dry nor tough either. Nevertheless, Berg's is a decent choice to satisfy your burger craving.

  • Omakase Burger

Omakase Burger is undoubtedly good for a fast-food style outlet - the fresh meat, cheese, lettuce, and bacon work well together to make a distinctive and enjoyable taste, though the burger itself is definitely on the small side. However, add on the cost of fries and a drink to the base $15-20 for the burger you quickly get into gourmet burger territory at $25+ per pax. At that price point, you can get much bigger, juicier, and higher quality burgers from the likes of Suprette or Black Swan.

  • PS. Cafe

The PS Crispy Onion Burger isn't cheap at $29++. To make up for this, the burger is generously sized and comes with a HUGE portion of shoestring fries on the side (sadly, they aren't truffle fries). The meat is high quality and juicy, but I didn't get any unique taste or awesome flavors from it; the deep fried onion toppings didn't stand out either.

Overall, this is a solid burger that will definitely satisfy your cravings but isn't quite special enough to make it into your food fantasies.

  • Ninethirty by Awfully Chocolate

I went for The Great Burger ($16) whose patty had mixed textures - tougher on the charred outside yet nicely soft and grainy on the inside. The beef taste was very good, shining through the other ingredients to be central to the overall burger. There were also lots of tangy flavors - likely the cherry tomatoes - while the crispy bacon wasn't salty but still nice. The bun was soft yet quite dense at times, and the shoestring garlic fries weren't too crispy but had an awesome taste. 4.5 stars!

  • Burp Kitchen & Bar

I had Burp's Beef Burger ($14) which had a nice fluffy Brioche bun with a light buttery taste. The beef patty was both fresh and tender, with great subtle flavors and hints of spice in the meat; however it was also slightly on the dry side. The cheese, greens, and mayo added nice tastes to the overall burger. The potato salad was also delightfully refreshing and not too strong nor heavy.

If you're a fan of quality, subtle flavors instead of super strong tastes, then this burger is for you.

  • Raven

The Raven "Cemita" Burger ($22) has a thick juicy patty with a great slightly chewy-yet-tender texture and a nice, subtle beef taste. The chipotle and ingredients added a LOT of spices and flavors packing a nice kick to the taste buds, while the avacado, cheese, and sauce added a salty, savoury twist. The bun is soft with a light butter taste, while the medium-sized fries were perfectly crispy and fluffy.

Overall a great burger with a great patty and unique spiced flavor: 4.5, almost 5 stars

  • RV Burger

Waggyu Burger is my favorite in RV Burger. It is a must try.

  • MeatLiquor SIN

I had the Bacon Cheeseburger ($24) which was medium sized. The bun was soft and a bit dense though without much taste. The patty was nice and juicy with a grainy texture and awesome meaty flavor; a bit chewy and charred at the edges. The cheese and bacon bits added a nice taste without being too strong. The condiments were a bit tangy, contributing to a great taste overall.

A delicious burger though a slightly bigger size, included fries, or cheaper price would make it perfect.

  • Meat Smith

Enjoyed dropping by this venue for lunch and would certainly recommend the Brisket Sandwiches, they have a choice of beef, pulled pork, and chicken. I went for the Beef Brisket and really enjoyed the overall flavours, tender meat and fresh rocket. If you're really hungry it would be worth having with a side dish since it does not come with fries.

  • Meat Smith

I had the Brisket Burger ($12) which was medium-small in size. While it doesn't look like much - just the bun, some meat, and a few toppings - the burger was actually very good. The bun was chewy and springy without being dense, and had a great taste. The shredded meat was very savory, and though not really juicy nor tender (since it is shredded) it had a great texture and a really enjoyable brisket flavor. Adding a touch of BBQ sauce made the burger near-perfect. A very solid 4.5/5 stars.

  • RV Burger

I had the Crazy Tower Burger ($23) which was dripping with all sorts of rich flavors. The cheddar cheese & mushrooms were quite strong in both taste & slimy texture, while the blue cheese & bacon added a lot of saltiness. The double beef patties were pretty enjoyable (right between fast food & gourmet) while the toasted bun was slightly dense with a nice buttery taste. The fries were a tad seasoned but very average. Overall a good, towering burger that'll definitely fill you up!

  • District 10

I had the Black Angus Beef Burger ($19 w/ set lunch) which had a dense, buttery bun that I really enjoyed. The beef patty was quite chewy in texture with decent juiciness and hints of salt/seasoning that made for a great taste. There was a strong cheese & mayo flavor which was refreshingly good alongside the tomato. The fries were alright - thick but not very crispy. Overall a tasty burger that I'll glady have again.

ps. the beef carpaccio was great, making for fantastic value as a set lunch.

  • Everything With Fries

The Har Jeong Kai Burger ($11.90) has a chicken patty which is VERY crispy and has a very strong crispy prawn paste taste. The chicken meat is good, a bit salty but the lettuce, mayo, and soft bun helped that taste. If you really like har jeong kai on its own then you will love this, but make sure you love that flavor because it is very strong.

I had curry fries with my meal which I liked. They are soft and have a lot of curry powder.

  • The Rotisserie

The Hamburger ($13) may not be 'gourmet' but is definitely delicious! The patty is large with good texture, not really tender nor juicy (a bit charred / dry at the edges) but still very good. The caramelized onions alongside the bacon & BBQ sauce made for a fantastic savoury taste, while the greens & mayo added a lighter flavor. The bun is a tad dense but went well with the other strong tastes, and they were VERY generous with the sides. A very solid burger and likely the best value I've seen.

  • Little Diner

Baconator w/ extra egg and Cajun fries: I definitely would urge u to add the $1 egg to the burger. The egg simple as it sounds, brings the flavour of the patty & esp the bacon out. While the very unique texture of the patty is almost cotton candy like with just the right amount of juice tucked in it awaiting the 2nd bite for it to ooze out into your mouth. The bacon wasn't crispy enough for my liking. The sauce was a little too much for my taste buds and the burger lacked vegetables.
