When I was younger I loved Krispy Kreme in the 'states, perhaps due to the standalone shops with the conveyer belt which you could track your donut being made from a ball of dough to getting glazed and then eating that exact one hot off the press. Now that it is available in Singapore, it is still good but isn't the dream dessert it once was. I'll still have a couple donuts without hesitation, but probably won't have 6 at a time anymore :)

The ice cream here is seriously perfect, especially the Chocolate Devotion. Love the sticky texture and how the mixins compliment the flavor. Definitely for the sweet-tooth and non-calorie shy folks, but if you're gonna give yourself a treat, nothing else can compare.

Skipped the auctions as you did and just showed up for the food - highly recommend Sushi Dai if you get the chance in the future!

Snake soup - yes, snake. Despite my attempts at avoiding this dish, peer pressure prevailed and quite surprisingly I enjoyed the dish. Doesn't taste any different than similar looking soups, and is apparently quite good for you.

Every dish here was truly delicious. We've all had the staple dim sum dishes countless times, but something about the quality and taste here made the food here really stand out. Couple that with a great setting and amazing view, you really can't beat having a nice afternoon lunch at Cuisine Cuisine to soak in all that Hong Kong has to offer.

Highly recommend the truffle fried taro - its like a chinese rendition of truffle fries, with some sort of sweet sauce. We cleaned this plate out super fast.

The restaurant offers a fantastic, unobstructed view of the city.

The wagyu shabu shabu here was a crazy good quality, especially given the extremely reasonable price of $228 HKD for the Japanese Supreme Wagyu set. Add on the $20 HKD free flow of beer & cider, and you're in for an amazing meal.
I'd suggest trying both Austrlian and Japanese Wagyu early on to see which you prefer - the marbling on the Japanese meat may be a bit rich for some.

Free flow Asahi beer & Somersby apple cider for $20 HKD. About the most awesome add-on there is.

Who doesn't love Tsui Wah? My usual is the crispy condensed milk buns, Malaysian beef brisket curry, and a champagne milk tea. A+ food and value!

Steak sandwich at $16 was much better than I expected. This is some quality beef with seriously awesome texture, not the sliced ham or roast beef crap you get from the likes of Subway. The bread was nice and crispy too.

The strawberry fields milkshake (strawberry, banana, honey, granola) was a great breakfast substitute. Don't let the small size fool you - it'll fill you up quite nicely!

Funny movie! Love the good ole American humor. I definitely laughed pretty hard at some scenes, though it is super odd to see Will Ferrell play the role of an intelligent person. Watch out for the penis!!

I thought this was an excellent movie. Really enjoyed all the physics theory (nerd alert!) though that definitely isn't a prerequisite to enjoying the film. Nice drama, raises good questions, and a great deal of suspense - overall a great movie

Just saw this movie last night with Xixi - we both really enjoyed it. Great action and over-the-top scenes like you said. The ending was sad tho... RIP Paul
