I had the Eighteen Beef Burger ($13.80) which has sliced beef instead of a traditional patty. The meat was thin with a chewy texture, and had a sweet flavor that didn't really make sense in a burger IMHO. The cheese, tomatoes, and lettuce were quite faint in comparison, while the accompanying sauce had a tangy yet spicy kick. The bun was slightly dense and quite normal, and the wedges were lightly crispy and soft on the inside.
An interesting concept, though not for traditional burger lovers.

I had the Sweet & Smoky Burger ($25.50) whose patty was fairly dry, had a slightly chewy texture, and a light beef taste - while large I wouldn't consider it gourmet. The crispy onion rings, BBQ sauce, and red onions added much needed flavor which was savory with a bit of spiced kick, easily overpowering the other ingredients. The bun was quite dense and normal while the thick fries were very average.
It tastes like a nicer Carl's Jr. Western Bacon burger, which isn't great given the price.

The Beef Burger ($18) at Dimbulah Chijmes looked promising at first - perfectly sized, all the right ingredients, and with a healthy serving of fries. Though the bacon was abundant and well cooked, the texture and taste was more fitting to go with eggs than on a burger. The cheese, grilled onions, tomatoes and greens added individual flavors yet didn't come together to make the overall burger better. The patty was fairly thin and uninspiring while the fries were thick yet equally lackluster.

I ordered the Signature Burger ($27) at Prive's Chijmes outlet with high expectations, given the price and listed ingredients. The burger was small-medium in size, and the wagyu beef patty was pretty disappointing - though thick, it was a bit overcooked, slightly tough, and didn't have a distinct flavor nor juciness. The bacon was nice and crispy, however the cheese wasn't melted at all. The fries and greens were ordinary. Overall an incredibly average burger with a hard-to-justify price tag.

@nicolajtroup
Thanks for the heads up! I've updated the info to include that it has been discontinued as of October 1, 2015. Looks like the existing cardholders can continue to use it and get the miles though, so good thing you got it in time :)

Agreed about horniness!! If anything you've underestimated it by a few orders of magnitude

Am interested to know if anyone has used Upwork to design and develop an entire iPhone app? Also how much would it cost. I'm thinking something thats just a few pages, like a calendar of events and then information of each event. Thanks!

@Xixi
I've heard this a few times. Don't use Fiverr to have someone program an entire custom site from scratch. But if you need help with stuff like installing Wordpress themes or small HTML stuff, it is pretty great for just a few bucks.

I recommend making your burger a meal for $3.90 to add fries (or broccoli) and a drink. The fries are a bit crispy and light on the seaweed taste, but still quite enjoyable and will satisfy your hunger alongside the burger.

I also tried the Garlic & Parsley Fries ($3.80) which were very crispy with a nice flavor. I really liked that I could clearly taste the garlic and parsley on the fries, compared to ‘flavoured’ fries at other places which usually have a faint (if anything at all) taste of the featured ingredients.

I also ordered caramelised onions (+$2) as an add-on which was served on the side. They were tasty and added a new depth of flavour to the burger despite being fairly dry. Worth the price if you love caramelised onions, but the burger has enough taste to it on its own to be good without any additional condiments.

The Naughty Fries ($10) are actually like thick potato chips, very crispy on the outside while having a soft potato-texture within. The texture is great and the flavour is unique and enjoyable - the spiced bernaise sauce, hot beef child, crisp shallots, and parmesan combine for an awesome and different taste. A very nice accompaniment to go with your burger to round out a meal.

You got it! Have a bunch of other places to bring you too :)

I also tried the Frenchie Burger ($27) whose confit pork belly topping had a strong smokey taste and felt a bit dry in texture. The underlying beef patty was good and the ingredients were fresh, however the burger didn't feel particularly special. Though the price is very fair given the venue, I'd rather top up for the Original db Burger and get a much more unique experience.

The cheesy xiao long bao ($9.80 for 6) is my favorite flavor as it really is quite cheesy. The black truffle version ($13.80 for 6) is a bit mushroomy and not really what I enjoy (I love truffle but dislike mushrooms), though I could see some people liking it.
