The daily 4-hour wine buffet (5pm - 9pm) is great value for money. Not sure about the red wine, white wine, or beer, but the moscato and prosecco are great picks.

While I am already quite meticulous about managing my trips in Excel spreadsheets, calendars, and DropBox folders, WorldMate is a must-have tool to always know when/where my next flight is and what hotel we to go to. The simplicity of opening the app and seeing everything neatly organized at your fingertips - all without doing anything other than forwarding confirmation emails - is magical.

Not only do I use XE Currency nonstop when I travel, I also use it all the time at home when checking forex rates or making overseas purchases. It is incredibly convenient after you configure the few currencies you're interested in, and has prevented all those costly miscalculations I used to make when manually converting foreign currencies.

If I could have one app on my phone when I am on holiday, this would be it. The ability to head into a general area and then use the GPS features to find other nearby attractions, restaurants, etc and then point me there with a simple arrow is seriously amazing - especially without needing to get a SIM card for data.
This app has literally changed the way I travel - I now spend a lot more time doing and enjoying instead of planning or missing out.

Seriously the best Portuguese egg tarts I've had. No trip to Hong Kong is complete without them, and friends from HK know this is the only thing I'll ask for when they visit me in SG.

Awesome soft-shell crab. Large portions and good quality - you can taste a healthy dose of crab meat under the texture of the fried shell.

The Malaysian curry beef brisket and crispy buns w/ condensed milk are my favorite dishes as Tsui Wah, and I've yet to be disappointed over dozens of trips. Great food, cheap prices, and open 24 hours - what's not to love?

Great 3-cup chicken! I haven't had it in a while, but I remember it being one dish that I tried to get back in Singapore and couldn't get anything close. Will definitely make an effort to go back next visit.

Gyu Jin strikes a fantastic balance of quality meat with a very good price. Opting for the $250 HKD-ish buffet, you'll get great cuts of beef and pork without breaking the bank. Add in free flow of drinks and Haagen Daz ice cream, and it is a truly amazing value.

Hands down, these are some of my favorite chocolates. The soft, melt in your mouth texture coupled with being refrigerated cold is an awesome combination on the taste buds. I can easily finish an entire box on my own in one go :P

I love these little biscuits and so does pretty much everyone else. The light texture goes well with the subtle chocolate taste.

Just saw this movie last night with Xixi - we both really enjoyed it. Great action and over-the-top scenes like you said. The ending was sad tho... RIP Paul

I thought this was an excellent movie. Really enjoyed all the physics theory (nerd alert!) though that definitely isn't a prerequisite to enjoying the film. Nice drama, raises good questions, and a great deal of suspense - overall a great movie

Funny movie! Love the good ole American humor. I definitely laughed pretty hard at some scenes, though it is super odd to see Will Ferrell play the role of an intelligent person. Watch out for the penis!!

Steak sandwich at $16 was much better than I expected. This is some quality beef with seriously awesome texture, not the sliced ham or roast beef crap you get from the likes of Subway. The bread was nice and crispy too.

Who doesn't love Tsui Wah? My usual is the crispy condensed milk buns, Malaysian beef brisket curry, and a champagne milk tea. A+ food and value!

The wagyu shabu shabu here was a crazy good quality, especially given the extremely reasonable price of $228 HKD for the Japanese Supreme Wagyu set. Add on the $20 HKD free flow of beer & cider, and you're in for an amazing meal.
I'd suggest trying both Austrlian and Japanese Wagyu early on to see which you prefer - the marbling on the Japanese meat may be a bit rich for some.

Every dish here was truly delicious. We've all had the staple dim sum dishes countless times, but something about the quality and taste here made the food here really stand out. Couple that with a great setting and amazing view, you really can't beat having a nice afternoon lunch at Cuisine Cuisine to soak in all that Hong Kong has to offer.
