@grunt72 - I think the price was about $300 SGD per pax for an extended omakase set and lots of sake & beer. If you have a local friend to call and ask for a reservation that would be your best bet - I don't think it is easy or even possible for foreigners to go alone, and believe booking is super hard even for locals.

Use the offline map functionality to cache maps that you can later use when you're out and about without internet access. The maps are saved on your phone and the location is based off of GPS, which is always free and requires no SIM card / telco connection.

Haven't tried the Tuesday oyster nights yet ($2 / oyster, and 10% off any sparkling wine or champagne) but if it is anything like the food or drinks here it should be totally worth it. Should pair nicely with the wine buffet!

The moment we had been waiting for - our double bed in the sky. Sadly we only have a few hours to try it out, but there is always next time (USA!)

Xixi had the fruits and I had the ice cream, cheese, and chocolates. Sounds fair to me!

Steak and lobster as the main course. Neither was very impressive, but
the setting and company more than made up for it

We decided to sit face-to-face in my seat to make the dining experience a bit more intimate. Truly a great way to enjoy an already fantastic meal 30,000 feet in the air.

Our favorite snacks from Japan - Shiroi Koibito. We searched high and low to finally buy these in Tokyo, until we arrived at the airport and realized we could get it easily there... will remember next time!

Japanese strawberries are by far the sweetest, most delicious strawberries that we've ever had. As soon as we took our first bite, we went back to the supermarket to buy more.
