Love the vibe and decor at Dimbulah. Not a big coffee fan in general but their Strawberry Lolly drink is pretty fantastic!

I've been here once before and loved the vibe, atmosphere, and especially the food. Highly recommend the burratina cheese ball ($18) as well as the Secreto Iberico pork ($28), whereas the lamb rack ($36) was also good but didn't quite justify the price. Prices are on the high end relative to the serving size, but for an occasional treat I'd say definitely give Moosehead a try.

A lot of people didn't think this movie was great but I think that is due to how much hype it had. I really loved the first Avengers movie and thought this one was still very good, though perhaps the first was still better - the bar was set pretty high. Tons and tons of action and some funny scenes. Felt they could have done a bit more with Jarvis 2.0 after building it up so much. Overall still a great movie IMHO!

Just found out that Marche has different set lunch options for each weekday, and one of Wednesday's options was 'Traditional Swiss rosti w/ tomato, cheese, & parma ham' with a homemade drink/soft drink - all for just $10.90+. A fantastic value and of course, the rosti was great as usual.

Almost everyone who has been to Bali knows and likes Potato Head, so there was a ton of buzz when they opened up a branch in Singapore. The atmosphere is definitely unique and the staff are great, though it gets very crowded after 6 to 7 pm - mostly with tourists and expats it seems. Prices are on the higher end as well, which is in line with their customer base. Overall a cool place to bring overseas visitors or to have an occasional drink.

A very nice and convenient way to get your burrito fix in the CBD, especially if you're already in the area. The cost is about $10-15 depending on what you get and what size, and the taste is quite good (though not the best I've had in Singapore). Overall I'd definitely recommend this if you're nearby and are craving a burrito - you won't be disappointed.

When I lived in California I would have Chipotle literally 2-3 times a week, so coming back to Singapore and not having anything like it was a big disappointment. Since Muchachos opened up, it has been my go-to place whenever the burrito craving kicked in. The food started off decent but not great, but over time I've noticed the quality of meat and ingredients has steadily improved and it is pretty damn good now. I'd say it is about 80-90% of Chipotle, which is the best I've had so far in Asia.

The laziji at Si Chuan Duo Hua is an excellent balance of crispy, tender, and flavor. You can definitely tell they put thought into the dish by not going overboard in any one area, though some may find the spiciness level a bit on the high side. Overall a fantastic dish at a great restaurant!

Another version of the dish that is quite different than the rest, Xie Lao Song's laziji is neither super crispy nor terribly spicy. Although that sounds uncharacteristic of the dish, the overall texture and flavor combine to yield a fantastic taste that makes me torn between which version I prefer. Highly recommended and my guests love it as well.

The overall taste and texture is very similar to that of Fat Bird's laziji down the street, but it comes at a slightly higher price point ($14 vs. $12). I'm not sure if it was just the dish or the overall meal, but I seem to prefer the version at Fat Bird better.

This is perhaps the most unique and balanced laziji I've had, and quite possibly my favorite. It manages to be crispy without being overly fried, and I really love the slight use of sugar to round the flavor out a bit. Paradise Dynasty's version is a bit less 'intense' than a lot of other places, but given how flavorful the dish is by nature that is a welcome change.

Fat Bird is my go-to place for a great laziji. It is quite crispy in texture and is very flavorful. Nothing too fancy, just nicely cooked and fairly priced. Beware that it can get VERY spicy, so let the staff know if you want it toned down a level or two.

Completely agree! Awesome taste and great price. Love having this prosecco to chill out.

One of the best chocolates I've had. The 3 types of chocolate coatings offer some variety of taste while the hazelnut core gives a very satisfying finale to each piece. If one could buy this in Singapore, you can bet I'd have a never-ending stash of these things.

A fine whiskey to slowly sip and have a good conversation over. Tastes great and is best appreciated neat or on the rocks - don't add any of your mixer nonsense to a whiskey like this. A bit pricey but you get what you pay for!

Ordered this on my first visit to Club Meatballs and felt that it was good but not necessarily amazing. The $14 price point for 4 meatballs, pasta, and some condiments is to be expected for this type of place in the CBD, and you won't get very full after a meal like this - which I guess is the whole point. In hindsight, salad would have definitely complimented the dish much better than pasta.

Tried Club Meatballs the other day and loved the concept. Simple menu, good food, and really cool ambience. The semi-private room in the back is excellent to have a good conversation over lunch in a casual living-room type setting. My meal came out to $14 with 4 meatballs and pasta with various other toppings, but will definitely go with salad instead of pasta next time. A bit pricey and won't really fill you up, but thats to be expected for this type of food around the CBD.
