The 'Chocolate Alexander w/ Ice Cream' aka chocolate lava cake was pretty good for the $7 price. Not a huge portion nor was it super oozy, but it made up for it in taste. Very nice chocolatey taste and though the exterior was a bit harder than most variants, it was very good nonetheless.

First time trying the baby back ribs ($60 for a full rack). We were wayyy too stuffed from the beef to fully enjoy these, but they were quite good nonetheless. Nice texture and great sauce. Would suggest getting a half rack to try out and/or not overdose on the beef/fried rice beforehand.

Foie Gras Satay @ $7 a stick is an amazing deal! Three chunks per stick that are super delicious and sinful... no wonder my cholesterol is skyrocketing!

This was once a much better card but has since been riddled with all sorts of exclusions and restrictions on its ability to earn 4 miles / S$. If you online shop regularly then this card can still be useful, but be prepared to invest time learning the T&Cs and keeping track of spending to stay under $12k SGD per calendar year.

Was craving some Tom Yum soup and wanted a bit of substance and meat to fill me up, so figured the Pork Knuckle Tom Yum would be worth a shot. The serving size was just nice to share between 3 guys, and all were happy with it. First time any of us had pork in tom yum and it was exactly how we imagined it would taste. Will definitely have this again since I love tom yum but don't like the usual seafood that comes it most of the time.

My mom loves telling this story. We were the most unlikely of first year college roommates that annoyed the crap out of each other for the first few weeks of school. Not sure how we ended up being best friends and travelling / meeting up all over the world together, but thats where we're at now!

Lol you make it sound like WE got married! You've pretty much been to every wedding that I've also attended since coming back to Singapore, and you sure as hell better be there for when I finally get married!

Thanks for visiting so soon after I came back to Singapore! It was only like what, a few weeks after graduation? We had no idea you'd eventually move out to Asia and come out like every other month :)

Had such a great time seeing you in HK and moving into the new place. Especially making you buy a new TV / sound system / Xbox / router / Apple TV / etc to make a sweet bachelor pad :P Was also my first work trip to Hong Kong! And one of many, many future trips to visit you there!

@lohnje
Ya obviously! Your old TV / sound system / everything wasn't up to par, so the solution was to make you buy a new everything.
