  • Curious Palette in The Ultimate Guide to Eggs Benedict in Singapore

I'm a big fan of Strangers Reunion and was very excited to hear about their latest offering on Prinsep Street; it certainly didn't disappoint. The modest entrance leads into a beautifully decorated modern interior with trendy lighting and ornate hanging plants. I went for their Pulled Pork on Sourdough ($22.50) which was bursting with colour and fresh flavours. I would have preferred a little more of a distinctive hollandaise sauce but otherwise I couldn't put this dish wrong.

  • Glints in How to find Interns in Singapore

Dedicated to internships and graduate jobs in Singapore. I created my internship job posting for free on their platform and received the detailed profile of five applicants a week later. We liked the look of three of the candidates and used our 20% special offer to arrange the interview stage with each. Following this quick and easy process we were really happy with the intern we took on board.

  • Cafe Melba in The Ultimate Guide to Eggs Benedict in Singapore

I originally saw this cafe while on the top deck of a bus heading towards the East Coast and made a note to try it out. I'm glad I did because their Free Range Eggs Benedict ($20) is one of the best I've tried in Singapore. I really enjoyed their high quality eggs which were very well poached, alongside the delicious bacon and really tasty hollandaise sauce. The roasted cherry tomatoes and side salad complimented a fantastic brunch.

  • Open Door Policy in The Ultimate Guide to Eggs Benedict in Singapore

I was really excited to try their eggs benedict having seen their rather unusual green curry hollandaise on the menu. The dish was beautifully presented and while the sight of green hollandaise sauce might put off a traditionalist, I became even more intrigued. The eggs were poached perfectly and had a golden runny yoke. I really enjoyed the addition of poached chicken, spinach and diced tomatoes. The hollandaise sauce itself added a gentle wasabi zest to what was am amazing blend of flavours.

  • Strangers' Reunion in The Ultimate Guide to Eggs Benedict in Singapore

One of my favourite cafes in Singapore. I love their Smoked Salmon Benedict. Really original combination of ingredients which is beautifully presented and tastes delicious. Traditionalists might frown at the replacement of hollandaise with their hazelnut bernaise but I'm all for creativity around a traditional theme particularly when it tastes this good. The fresh smoked salmon, lightly toasted sultana bread, walnut and feta crumble provide a fantastic compliment to the poached eggs.

  • Salads @ SunMoon in Great Food around Golden Mile Complex

While not the best salad shop in Singapore that I've been to, you'll struggle to find another that provides better value. This is a no frills venue which is extremely popular and they also offer some good fresh fruit tubs should you be on a real health kick.

  • The Bridge Inn, Topsham in England's finest country pubs

Love the quaint and rustic interior of this pub. The pickled eggs are a must try. They look like they might have been fermenting in their jar for the past 100 years but that just adds to the allure! Well washed down with a pint of the local ale.

Jigger and Pony has remained my favourite cocktail bar in Singapore since it launched three years ago. There is a real feel good factor on entering the bar which I attribute to the super friendly staff, the electro-swing background music, and of course the delicious cocktails.
