Beautifully written by one of my favourite authors. Gives a real sense to the horrors inflicted when fighting in the First World War.

I read this book while sailing across the Atlantic so could quickly relate to the trials and tribulations of sailing solo around the world. Bernard Moitessier's tale proves that he is of a different breed to most!

Such an inspiring true to life biography of a Hawaiian legend who saved countless lives as a lifeguard while embellishing the aloha spirit. A waterman without equal.

A fantastic depiction of a traveler's life off the grid. Vivid descriptions of life in the slums in Bombay and workings of its black markets.

This was recommended to me by a wise old colleague of mine. It provides a fascinating depiction of the speed at which technology is becoming an increasing factor in our lives and how its influence might blow minds over the next decade.

Well worth finding this gem. Love the fact that their sole focus is Ramen and it is delicious. Worth getting there ahead of the crowds to avoid queues at lunch and dinner.
