Love the French feel and atmosphere. They do a really good cheese board and meat board to compliment your bottle of wine.

Always a buzzing atmosphere on a Wednesday night! Best to try and reach the venue by 11pm otherwise it can be a long and slow moving queue.

The infamous Suprette Burger which comes with salad and free-flow fries. Highly recommended.

Stunning location and a big favourite of mine. I would happily fly all the way from Singapore for their English Breakfast alone!

Trendy little cafe which turns into a buzzing bar and restaurant in the evenings. Situated in the old Chung Hwa Free Clinic building it is difficult to miss and has a very relaxed vibe.

Works well in combination with a swim in the Serpentine but perhaps a little too much to fit into a lunch break from the City and back!

The also have a really cool street side bar where they mix up a cracking Negroni too. Perhaps best consumed post work rather than over lunch.

Really cool concept where you can mix and match meatballs with a combination of lettuce or pasta. I went for the salad variation and the ingredients were fresh and delicious. I could have perhaps done with one more meatball to be fully satisfied but I would highly recommend this casual lunch option none-the-less to anyone in the Telok Ayer vicinity.

Increasingly a favourite meeting place after work with friends. The atmosphere is always energetic and the staff are much more attentive than in most other bars I've come across in Singapore. Love the relaxed community spirit that this bar envokes.

I highly recommend this laid back restaurant for really any occasion. The food is delicious and designed to be shared among a small group of friends. As a child of the 90s I love the indie themed background music which ties really well into the rustic decor.

Jigger and Pony has remained my favourite cocktail bar in Singapore since it launched three years ago. There is a real feel good factor on entering the bar which I attribute to the super friendly staff, the electro-swing background music, and of course the delicious cocktails. I highly rate this establishment for all occasions.

I visited last Sunday morning and really liked the laid back, simplistic setup of this open seating bakery. Highly recommend their pain au chocolat.

The fire was still burning when we dropped by back in the summer of 2004! Set in a stunning location on Dartmoor and well worth going out of your way to visit.

Love the quaint and rustic interior of this pub. The pickled eggs are a must try. They look like they might have been fermenting in their jar for the past 100 years but that just adds to the allure! Well washed down with a pint of the local ale.

Delicious tapas and it really feels like a small piece of Spain in the heart of Singapore.

Love the fun and secretive nature of this cocktail bar. Very rich in atmosphere and a huge contrast from the mirrored entrance that marks the entry into this bar.

Great venue for lunch. Really enjoyed the concept and buzz of this venue. I concocted the pulled pork burrito pictured which was delicious.
