This place certainly took me back in time a little to the gastro-pubs of London when I first entered. I went for their Eggs Benedict ($15) and really enjoyed their bacon on the toasted English muffins. The eggs were well poached but of medium quality and their hollandaise sauce looked great but was unfortunately a little flavourless in taste. A fresh side salad accompanied the dish but there was no dressing served on it which was a shame.

I really likes the laid back theme of this place and was eager to try their Eggs Benedict. I opted for the salmon version as I'm not a big fan of turkey ham. I really enjoyed the toasted brioche base alongside their homemade hollandaise sauce which was delicious and came with a hint of citrus and mustard. The eggs were well poached but of medium quality and the smoked salmon wasn't full of flavour.

I went for their traditional Eggs Benedict and enjoyed the overall presentation of the dish. The eggs were slightly under-poached and of medium quality but the hollandaise sauce was good with a hint of citrus and spice to it. The ham was of decent quality and the English muffin base was fresh but I'd have preferred for it to have been toasted. Certainly one of the best value Eggs Benedict I've had in Singapore to date.

I was recommended this place by a friend who lives in the area. Really welcomed by their quirky vintage decorations inside and friendly staff, I went for their Eggs Benedict ($15). The eggs were well poached on a toasted english muffin and I quickly noticed the fried mushrooms that weren't on the menu but came as a welcome surprise. Sadly for me, their streaky bacon wasn't of great quality and their homemade hollandaise sauce had little flavour and was not very liberally applied.

Really like the laid back nature of this venue alongside its very French theme. They serve up a good filter coffee to boot.

I went for the Salmon Polenta Eggs Benedict as I was intrigued to see how well the polenta base supported this traditional dish. Unfortunately I found the polenta a little lacking in flavour, too crumbly and extremely filling when served up with two thick pieces. I enjoyed the smoked salmon and hollandaise sauce but felt the eggs were a little under poached and not of great quality. Think I'd go for their other Eggs Benedict option next time.

Their burgers are full of flavour and certainly hit the spot. I went for their Prime Beef Burger recently and found it to be a little too juicy / greasy for my liking; had to resort to knife and fork. I really liked their truffle mayonnaise and relish which certainly enhances the taste and would bring me back again. One of the better quick-turnaround gourmet burger offerings that I've come across in Singapore and I would definitely recommend to friends looking for inspiration on that front.

Enjoyable coffee. Looks like they use Common Man Coffee Roasters beans.

A couple of friends had recommended the Privé Eggs Benedict and so I was keen to see how it rated. The ham and streaky bacon on top of the toasted English muffin base were delicious. Both eggs were well poached to the point where the yoke remained a little runny and the flavours combined well with the rocket salad. The glazed hollandaise sauce was lacking a little in flavour which was really the only downside to what was otherwise very good dish.

I recommend reserving a table on the deck outside overlooking Marina Bay. When it came to their choice of burgers, I went for the "To Die For" and asked for it to be cooked medium rare. The meat was juicy and cooked as requested. I enjoyed their special burger sauce in combination with the melted cheddar cheese. The chips were crispy and I really enjoyed the addition of rosemary and parmesan to enhance their flavour. A simple and satisfactory burger that comes with a great view.

I went for their rather extravagant Fois Gras Benedict ($21.90) having never tried this combination previously. The dish was neatly presented, the eggs were of very good quality and well poached. The slightly glazed hollandaise sauce was a little lacking in a distinctive flavour but the consistency was good. Finally, the seared fois gras added a depth of rich flavour which was perhaps a little too much for me, but I'm glad I tried it and it was beautifully cooked.

Enjoyed dropping by this venue for lunch and would certainly recommend the Brisket Sandwiches, they have a choice of beef, pulled pork, and chicken. I went for the Beef Brisket and really enjoyed the overall flavours, tender meat and fresh rocket. If you're really hungry it would be worth having with a side dish since it does not come with fries.

I went for their Eggs Benedict with Crispy Bacon ($17) and really enjoyed the stunning presentation of the dish. The hollandaise sauce was light in texture but a little too spicy for my liking when naturally combined with the drizzle of chilli oil and balsamic vinegar around the plate. I really enjoyed the fresh and well toasted bread base, spinach leaves, the well poached eggs of good quality and the crispy bacon.

I am a big fan of this venue and had been meaning to drop by at the weekend for a while to sample their brunch menu. I went for their Oeufs Benedict ($22) and really enjoyed their traditional take on this dish. The hollandaise sauce was rich, creamy and delicious combining well with the crispy bacon. The eggs were of good quality but just a little over poached for my liking. I really enjoyed the surprising addition of fried potatoes and sausages that accompanied the dish.

While it took me a little bit of time to locate The Provision Shop, it was well worth the effort. I went for their Almost a Florentine ($12) and really enjoyed the presentation and purposeful simplicity (paper plate, wooden knife and fork). The eggs were a little under poached for my liking but of good quality and the hollandaise sauce was excellent. The icing on the cake for me was the mixture of organic vegetables which greatly enhanced this novel take on Eggs Florentine.

My PHP website had a bug that wasn't letting users log in for some reason and my freelancer was on holiday, so I tried out Fiverr. I went for the cheapest option - a random guy for $5 who had decent but not great reviews - and he got the job done, though took 1.5 days to respond. Look into the reviews next time so you know what you're getting.

I'm a big fan of cafes which double up as great venues to read your book or newspaper so I'd been looking forward to visiting this venue for a while. I went for their Eggs Benedict ($15.95) and enjoyed the good quality eggs that were well poached. While not listed on the menu, the fresh spinach leaf base came as a good addition alongside the decent quality honey baked ham and subtle but tasty hollandaise sauce. The rosti potato with a dollop of sour cream rounded off a very enjoyable brunch.
